Tara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (C018481) and an Outpatient Psychotherapist. She is a specialist in supporting families who are going through high conflict divorce or experiencing complex family dynamics. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Carolina and Wilmington with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis and received her Master of Social Work at North Carolina State University.
Tara believes the therapeutic process should be an authentic partnership aimed at supporting you in overcoming barriers preventing you from living the life you strive for. Tara is devoted to working with children, adolescents, and families to support the development of a safe environment conducive to growth and nourishment. She also recognizes the need to embrace and love your “inner-child” and works with adults across the age span who feel stuck in life.
